BKD CPAs & Advisors has released its first audit quality report.  The 22-page document, “The Importance of Quality:  Our Commitment to Integrity & Excellence,” highlights BKD’s policies and practices and shows how the firm’s culture plays an important role in providing valuable services.

“BKD has taken an important step in developing ‘The Importance of Quality’ for the public, our clients and our team,” said Mike Wolfe, BKD’s chief risk officer.  “We strive to demonstrate to our stakeholders our efforts to remain relevant, protect the public, use secure technologies to protect data and maintain our strong commitment to quality.  We recognize this journey never ends, and we are committed to maintaining high integrity and delivering excellence.”

In an increasingly regulated environment, the report will give helpful information to boards and audit committees concerning BKD’s efforts to support quality.  BKD is one of only a few firms to generate a quality report, which addresses topics such as client selection, employee opportunities, professional standards and technology.  The document is available for review on BKD’s website.

BKD has 36 offices in 16 states, and fiscal year 2018 revenues were approximately $600 million.  The firm provides a wide range of assurance, tax and accounting outsourcing services.  It also serves clients around the world as the largest U.S. member of Praxity, AISBL, a global alliance of independent firms that serves the dynamic needs of multinational clients.
